LVPD Welcomes back Gilbert Martinez

The Las Vegas Police Department would like to welcome home Police Officer
Gilbert Martinez from a year of deployment oversees in Operation Iraqi
Freedom serving with the NM National Guard.

Officer Martinez has served 15 years of credible service with LVPD and we
are happy to have him back safely and patrolling our streets again!

Las Vegas City Police Community Outreach

Officers Monica Vigil and Officer Jacob Herron provided community outreach at a local daycare during the month of April.

Las Vegas City Police Community Outreach Program is a short-term, prevention-oriented, school-based group intervention that brings together community police officers with children and young adults to provide weekly sessions for daycare, elementary, middle school and high school students. The Las Vegas City Police Community Outreach was created to promote a healthy working and learning relationship between Las Vegas City Police Department and the residents of the City of Las Vegas.
